Evolving Into The Perfect Self

We have thus far seen that the physical universe in all of its aspects is the result of invisible electrical units condensed into certain orderly patterns according to the direction of some omnipresent guiding force. Because we know that our bodies are composed entirely of atoms, and nothing but atoms, we must conclude that our bodies existence is dependent upon the force which causes the creation and continued duration of the atoms. Stated more simply, THE POWER THAT SUSTAINS THE ATOM SUSTAINS YOU.

We have also seen that all we can know of ourselves, our environment, our life, and existence, is that which we become aware of through the medium of our physical organism. THE INTELLIGENCE THAT CREATED THE UNIVERSE ALSO CREATED AN ORGANISM IN WHICH THE UNIVERSE COULD BE REFLECTED IN THE FORM OF CONSCIOUSNESS. The Creative or Evolutionary Energy functions as a Universal Mind working in and through the atomic plane, building matter and form according to certain orderly patterns or mental blueprints called IDEAS.

The term "Idea" in philosophy was defined by Plato as "a model or archetype of which all physical things are imperfect imitations and from which their existence is derived." In modern philosophy, the term is used variously to mean absolute truth, one of the ultimate principles apprehended by the reason. Everything that is in existence on the physical plane is the exteriorized product of an invisible idea. Before the first Homo Sapien was created, he existed as a perfect idea in the Universal Mind.

The universe and all that it contains was literally THOUGHT INTO BEING. It appears that the Universal Mind thinks with atoms or it thinks and the atoms obey. The Will of the Infinite is Universal Law and its conscious ideative powers are responsible for the existence of the phenomenal world of shapes, forms, and appearances. The Creative Will of the Infinite Mind, functioning through the immutable principle of attraction and repulsion, was the primal cause responsible for the whirl of the first electron, the formation of the first atom, the creation of the first sun, the evolution of the first universe, the birth of the first man, the underlying principle and essence of all that is and that ever will be.

In the seeming void of Infinite Space, in the bosom of the Absolute there existed the latent potential that eventually manifested in the fullness and glory of the cosmos. This Infinite, Conscious Creative Energy is in everything, and through everything; it is everything; IT IS ALL. We live and move and have our existence in this sea of creative energy, and this Creative Energy lives and moves and has its existence within us. We are truly one with the Infinite; Sons of the most High. THIS VAST INTELLIGENCE IS SEEKING TO EXPRESS ITSELF THROUGH YOU AT THIS VERY MOMENT!

The purpose of all living is development and growth. Plant a seed and it springs into activity, and in the process of living and growing it produces a thousand more seeds that continually carry on the processes of life, growth and development. The seed of a perfect, ideal life is lying dormant within your own being, patiently waiting to spring into activity and bring forth the fruits of all power, all accomplishment, eternal peace, happiness and well being. Within the seed of life, the Evolutionary Energy slumbers in your own soul, ever ready to unfold and blossom into an existence so grand that at present you have not the slightest conception.

Even though you are one with the Infinite, you above all living creatures were bestowed with your own FREE WILL. The only obstacle that can prevent the Creative Energy from manifesting perfectly through you is your own will and ignorance. By uniting your own individual will with the Will of the Infinite, you bring your life into harmony with Universal Law. This is to be led totally from within. The degree of perfection one reaches in life is directly proportional to one's obedience to his Higher Self. When Universal Law is allowed to flow through the individual, unobstructed, the beautiful unfolding that results, is as natural and inevitable as the flowering of the rose.

With the potential of this natural process of growth and unfoldment lying within each individual you would think it would be a simple matter for everyone to achieve maximum perfection in body, mind and being, but in actual experience we find that this is not the case. In fact, an individual that reaches any degree of attainment in any phase of life is generally the exception rather than the rule. If we plant a number of seeds and only a few of them grow, and those that do grow are of a sickly nature, we know there are some vital conditions lacking which if supplied will bring the organism into fullness of growth, development, and beauty. The same is true of human beings. Any living thing can be raised to perfection if the optimum conditions for growth are supplied.

The following lessons are meant to supply you with all the necessary ingredients to activate the latent forces and remove the artificial impediments hindering the natural process of growth and development. If the lessons are assimilated even to a small degree you can not help but benefit from them. The lessons are not intended to change the student in any way, rather they are designed to change ones habitual thought patterns concerning one's Self, his relation to his world and his powers to control his life.

Any changes in the student himself are merely the natural process of growth and development brought about by natural law. It is important to keep in mind that you are perfect now. You are perfect for your stage of development, the same as the unsightly bulb of the lily is perfect. The purpose of these concentrated lessons is to bring you to greater levels of perfection, until the Creative Intelligence within can function unobstructed and bring you to the highest level of expression that you are capable of experiencing on the physical plane. This it is to live the higher life, the life of success, radiant health, strength, prosperity, real happiness, and self-mastery. This it is to live life to the fullest.

Remember always, the Infinite Mind in which we live is the same mind with which we think. The force responsible for the progressive evolution of the cosmos is the power that is manifesting in you and through you. THE EVOLUTIONARY FORCE IS CONSTANTLY STRIVING TO MAKE YOU GREATER THAN WHAT YOU ARE. This Infinite Intelligence is limited only by the conditions of the channel through which it flows. Make your channel a perfect one and you can not fail in living life to the fullest. We end this section of your training with a poem.

IN THE MIND OF GOD IS WHERE WE DWELL

In the mind of God,
is where we dwell.

It seems so real,
it's hard to tell.

The physical plane
was designed to deceive.

The energy of Spirit,
is all that we see.

Electrons whirling,
atoms twirling
atomic gyrations.

Senses perceiving,
intellect believing
these etheric vibrations.

The resulting impressions,
have a rational appeal.

But nothing we perceive,
is actually real.

Caught in the illusion
of Space and Time.

Not but the thought processes
of the Universal Mind.

The Cosmos is conscious,
it's one Supreme Being.

And it's not but its thought forms
that we are perceiving.

That we have our existence
in an ocean of thought,

Is the highest esoteric teaching
that can be taught.

The knowledge that you are now receiving,
constitutes the Mastery of Being.
So heed the message
and heed it well

In the mind of God
is where we dwell.

This concludes the first part of your training. If the lessons have been assimilated you should have the foundation necessary to unfold the practical aspects of your latent powers.

If you proceed no further, you will have at least gained from the vital facts of your own existence.

1. WHO AM I? You are an individual center of life, consciousness, mind and volitionary power. One with the life, mind and power of the universe.

2. WHERE DID I COME FROM? You are an emanation of the Absolute. A manifestation of the Ultimate Reality. "A spark from the Divine Flame." You come from the source of all things. As all springs bubble up from the same unseen river, so does your life flow from the invisible river of Universal Life.

3. WHY AM I HERE? You are here to live and experience. Experience is the nutrient of the soul. You are here to grow and unfold. You are here to realize your full potential as a living entity. And most important, you are here to realize the divine part within.

In the next series of lessons will come the practical instructions. You will be informed of the inner-powers and dormant forces at your complete control. You will be given instructions to activate these latent powers and bring them into full operation in your life. The results of this awakening to power and subsequent application is that you inevitably live the exact life that you wish to live.

It is here that you must STOP and ask the all important question, "What do I want out of life?"

We are sorry but this is the one question we can not help you with. This question you must answer alone. The answer to this question can only come from within yourself. After all, no one knows your inner most desires, your secret passions, your deepest longings as well as you do.

Take this warning and know that the answer to this question is the one most important factor of your life. It WILL determine your destiny. We can, however, offer this advise. After much soul searching conceive the highest life that you can imagine yourself living. The happiest, most joy-filled, triumphant existence you can conceive yourself fulfilling; set this before your mental vision and know that it is possible. Once you've glimpsed the higher life, let these words be etched permanently into your mind, " NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS! "

The most common and stifling error is setting the sights too low. Don't be afraid to dream. Let your imagination run free. Let it paint for you the vision of a life that at present you can not conceive. The human creative faculty extended to the limits of human imagination can only give you a glimpse of your own potential.

Before proceeding with the second part of the lessons, we must ask you to forget about all else and answer honestly for yourself the most vital question of your existence, "WHAT DO I WANT OUT OF LIFE?"

Unless you can answer this question it is useless to go on with the lessons. But once you've made the decision, once you've seen the vision and set the goal, full steam ahead, never look back, never give up, and never settle for less. The higher life you seek is separated from you by the flimsiest of screens.
